Kidney failure: Coming for dialysis

by Aisha

I'm a patient on the Dialysis Unit. I come here every other day for dialysis, because I have kidney failure.

I've always known that that I was ill - my parents found out when I was a year old, and the doctors have always been very open with me.

I feel alright about my illness, it doesn't bother me at all. In a normal day I feel just the same as anyone else. I have bad days but then I guess so does everybody.

The treatment is fine, it can be boring but it doesn't hurt.
