Health > Real stories > Archive > H > HospitalOperations and hospitalby AdeleI’m Adele and thirteen-years-old. I’m from Kelso and have been going into hospital for the past 13 years. I have scoliosis and hiatus hernia and it sometimes bugs me, as I am forever having operations and staying in hospital for a while! I don’t mind operations and hospitals as I think they are really cool. But, most of the time I am in pain and feel angry because I can get really sore! Sometimes I take my anger out on my friends but I don’t mean to, and my friends know that I don’t mean it! But, I can’t explain how sore I get... because I get really really sore. I have to watch what I eat cause it comes back up and causes me to reflux and I struggle to breath and feel scared!!!! But, everybody who works at my hospital is really nice to me, and they try to help me when I’m in pain. When in pain I sometimes feel like I am going to die but I know that there are lovely nurses and doctors there to help me and every other kid in that hospital... They are all lovely!!!!!
