Health > Real stories > Archive > C > CancerMy mum has cancerby LauraMy mum was told she has cancer and I didn’t really understand how serious it was. I’m starting to realise. Today was the day she had her last chemo and that was a real delight. Sometimes she’d get moody and shout but I have to get use to it. My life didn’t really change but I had to hold my head up high and try not to think about it. Sometimes I’d cry and then say 'why my mum' and stuff like that but now I realise I’m not going through half of what she is. If you ever experience this, talk to someone - it really helps.
